Stupid Human Tricks
Yesterday, an old friend of ours up in Boston, "Big Head Braden," embarked on an absurd quest to sit in every one of the 18,000 seats in the TD BankNorth Garden, aka the Boston Garden, as part of a radio show promotion:
He failed. "Dizziness and vomiting" after the jump...
Braden is a producer for the Karlson & McKenzie morning show on WZLX, which took guesses on how long it would take the lad to plant his rup 18,000 times, the winner to receive a catered trip to a Boston Bruins game.
Unfortunately for everyone involved, Braden fell a little short. He
completed the entire bottom section and visited all the luxury boxes
before he was stopped due to "dizziness and vomiting," according to a
source, but "he's fine now" and may have been "embellishing to make
himself look good." There are pictures of the stunt here and a map of his total progress (completed sections in black). Good try, old chap.
(And for those wondering why a Boston story is here, the Times owns the Boston Globe, the Red Sox' best hitter is from Washington Heights, and Martin Scorsese filmed portions of The Departed - set in Boston - in Brooklyn. Good enough for me) --BRYAN JOINER
